Re: The EM debate...

Hey Everyone, Martin Weatherall is at it again, here is a news release he issued on Sunday across the Canadian News Wire:

Ontario Mayoral Candidate says No to City-Wide WiFi

STRATFORD, ON, Sept. 5 /CNW/ - A retired police officer running for mayor of Stratford, Ontario vows to stop city-wide WiFi "because it's unsafe."

"Hundreds of thousands of people visit the Stratford Theatre Festival every year. They don't want to be microwaved when they get here," said Martin Weatherall, who spent 28 years with Toronto's Police Service."

Weatherall is campaigning on a platform to reduce public exposure to microwave radiation, including WiFi in schools and hospitals where the most vulnerable to microwaves are increasingly exposed.

"Biological changes occur from microwaves, that's a fact," said Weatherall. "It's time Politicians spoke up about this."

This will no doubt be good for tourism and our local economy.

Re: The EM debate...

why can't we have normal people move to town????  Ryan?  Inside Perth Johnston? J.Butler?  and now Weatherall?

I like change, I really do, but with a sense of control, normality and reality included in it.  Tired of freaks and dingo's popping up to toss some kind of crap into the public eye only to have them disappear and leave us to fix their mess.

Ever vote for Weatherall is confirmation of insanity!  Vote Dan, or destroy your vote- don't egg on these kinds of twits!

.:. Wireless Health Alert
On August 31, 2007 a 600 page landmark study titled the BioInitiative Report: A Rationale for a Biologically-based Public Exposure Standard for Electromagnetic Fields (PDF) http://www.bioinitiative.org was released worldwide. This study, which draws from more than two thousand independent scientific papers, outlines the bioeffects and burgeoning public health threat from wireless technologies. The impressive international group of fifteen experts in the area of radio frequency (RF) research came together to publish this study, which links microwave signals from wireless technologies to more than fifty bioeffects in humans that are silently affecting us all. These health impacts include brain and breast cancer, childhood leukemia, neurological impacts, immune system dysfunction, Alzheimer’s, depression, memory loss, autism and sleep disturbances. The BioInitiative report concludes, "the current level of exposure to the general population is thousands of times too high."

Re: The EM debate...

Hmmmm...interesting...not sure the site owner is going to make a ton (tonne in metric) of money at $2.00 per view....but it stopped me.

"The global rollout of wireless technologies and devices like cell phones, cordless phones, cell towers (masts) and many other sources greatly increases our EMF exposure in daily life. The enormous popularity of new communication devices that allow email, texting, and access to the Internet from any city street has placed the issue squarely before government agencies like the FDA and the FCC, and also parents and school administrators. Parents must decide whether possible health risks to their children outweigh the convenience of keeping track of them. School officials and teachers care because of disruption and distraction in the classroom from cell phone use. National safety officials in the US face public criticism about highway collisions and road deaths from cell phone use while driving. Federal railway officials are still coping with the problem of illicit texting by US railroad personnel that lead to the catastrophic collision of two trains in Chatsworth, California in 2008 killing 24 and injuring 135 more."  (http://emfjournal.com/2009/03/16/bioini … lf-and-rf/)

Stratford - Death by Smart Meter and Wi Fi

After receiving the information below and seeing the photograph which is attached, I went to the house in Stratford, Ontario, to see this dying shrub for myself.  I was shocked at the amount of harm caused to the plant.  I was able to see that the dying and sick leaves were much worse than the photograph shows.

The smart meter had only been installed about two months ago yet there were several leaves that had completely withered up, as if they had been dried in place.  Many other leaves showed signs of disease, with dozens of small dry spots spread across the leaves.  The damage spread out for at least  three feet from the smart meter.  Leaves several feet away were very healthy, they were bright green with no signs of harm.

Another meter attached to the house next door was about eighteen feet away and many leaves on the tree, which were close to that meter, were changing colour.

I measured the microwave radiation between the houses and it constantly spiked over two thousand microwatts per square metre.  The radiation was almost continuous, one powerful spike after another.  This City wide Wi Fi, smart meter system is very powerful, highly dangerous and must be stopped.  Fighting this danger is part of my election platform in the Stratford Municipal Election.

Note:  More detailed photographs of the plant, will be taken and made available, when the weather improves.

Martin Weatherall

Hi Martin

I am taking the opportunity to forward to you some photos of the decay in
vegetation immediately surrounding our meter on the side of the house. We
never noticed what was going on until the euonymous started to drop leaves
in the vicinity of the smart meter just this week. Since we have the climbing
plant growing on 3 sides of our house, I took a quick walk around to see
if it was some sort of fungus affecting the plant or what the source of the
decay could be. My investigation revealed that only the euonymous around
the meter has been affected. I've included a photo of a healthy branch farther
removed from the meter as a comparison.

My guess is that any studies into related health issues from smart meter
emissions have probably been ignored or overlooked by municipalities.
It would be interesting to see if anyone else has experienced noticeable
effects from their smart meters.

I think people need to be made aware of the dangers of smart meters.
Who will monitor the health effects on urban populations?

E.

Hi Martin:
This photo today shows the progression of vegetative decay around the smart meter. I should mention that before the smart meter was installed, vibrant green vegetation completely surrounded the meter. A robin nested above the meter last year.

E

Re: The EM debate...

Yeah, I've got this strange brown patch in my yard, right in the area where I haven't watered in weeks, that gets alot of direct sun, where my dog likes to pee.  I think my smart meter is at fault too..

You can't fix stupid, you just make them run for mayor on stupid platforms...

Re: The EM debate...

We have a tree in our front yard....you know on of those stick like trees the city puts in after that allowed the developer to cut down all the mature ones....anyway for the past 14 years no tree has realy grown properly...we have had it replaced twice by the city as it just doesn't grow. Our neighbor has the original tree and it is healthy and fine and big.

Well wouldn't you know...they installed the smart meter and the tree on our front lawn is growing like crazy!!....it just has to be the smart meter...

Press Release - Warning to the Public

Stratford’s Dangerous "Smart Meters"

The huge increase in radiation around Stratford caused by smart meters and city wide Wi Fi is a very serious long term danger to residents. The health of some people is likely to be severely compromised by exposure to the radiation. I have seen several of the meters and taken measurements near homes that have them, and I have found that strong radiation levels from smart meters are penetrating through house walls. They are exposing residents to dangerous electro magnetic pollution inside their homes.

Of particular concern are homes where the meter is mounted on the same wall as a bedroom or a room where any occupant spends much time. Even more worrying are homes that have multiple meters mounted just outside living areas, such as some townhouses, some apartments and some multiple residence units. Having multiple meters can cause even higher radiation levels and more danger for the persons exposed.

It appears that each meter transmits radiation at different strengths and at different time periods, depending on the distance the signal has to travel, the physical barriers between the meter and the collection point, and the number of meters using the meter as a stepping stone to pass their information along the line to the collection point.

The only way that a person will know the strength and danger of the radiation is by having the home and property measured with a good quality radio frequency meter. Home yards and gardens have now become zones of strong pulsing microwave radiation. Children should be kept well away from playing near any smart meters. Even the radiation at a distance can be quite strong and potentially harmful.

The smart meters that I have measured during the last two weeks have emitted strong radiation, pulsing on and off almost continuously. This may cause many harmful effects, including, headaches, sleeping difficulties, heart problems, etc. In the long term, there may be many serious health problems, including various cancers, immune system damage, neurological problems, and other serious illnesses. There is a huge amount of scientific evidence to support this fact.

Persons who have suffered health effects since having smart meters installed should have the radiation levels measured and report their concerns to their doctors. Information about the dangers of microwave radiation can be found at: www.weepinitiative.org Assistance may be obtained at: contactweep@weepinitiative.org

Human Microwave Testing

September 13, 2010.  Navy exposes military volunteers to microwave radiation (1972).

Among Zory Glaser's documents, I found a newspaper article entitled:  Navy Testing Microwave Risk  http://www.magdahavas.com/wordpress/wp- … g-1972.pdf  (United Feature Syndicate, 1972).

The article starts:  “The Navy is exposing 50 volunteers to potentially harmful microwaves to find out what these mysterious rays do to the human body.”   It goes on to say that Americans and military specialists are exposed to increasingly high levels of microwave radiation. Medical reports link these rays to cataracts, damage to male reproductive organs, cardiovascular changes, and psychological problems.

Dr. Dietrich Beischer, a German scientist, who exposed his own body to frequency microwave doses along with military personnel, headed the "human guinea pig” study.  This was a long-term study since “microwave effects may show up years afterwards . . . Genetic damage might not show up until the second generation.”  Dr. Beischer said he would make his results public by mid-1973.

Re: The EM debate...

i asked festival hydro to install the smart meter on the head board of my bed but they said that it had to be outside the house.........

so being disappointed i went out to my asbestos insulated workshop and had some whiskey and a couple of smokes while listening to howard stern on sattelite radio........................and cooking chicken fingers in the old microwave with the broken door..................

Nice..but I prefer my shed with the Urea-formaldihide foam insulation...I also prefer the BBQ brickettes (they double for heating) and was roasting chicken balls....also had a bunch of that orange sauce for them. Couple of stogies and downed a quart...oh sorry litre of gin.

Re: The EM debate...

How come all the anti-wifi research is like 30 years old b ut no one wants or caresa what current research says? Sounds like an ID10T problem.

So are we going to have a survey now asking for tourists opinion of Wifi like we did for Walmart?
